A brand new opportunity has just arisen for a Business Development Specialist within a niche management consultancy based in the Home Counties. This is a brand new stand-alone position initially, which will report directly in to the MD. You will be responsible for closing down new & prospective clients quickly & efficiently as this is a business growing at a rapid rate which wants to take full advantage of converting the business leads it is generating internally. The Role Your main responsibilities will be: Day to day meetings with a range of different clients to sell company solution with a view to gaining agreement in one meeting. You may have to get involved in generating your own leads but predominantly the focus will be to close down opportunities which have been generated through the company. The more business you can close down the higher the reward. The Person This is a business development role where the main focus will be to work with SME clients particularly within technology or manufacturing based products, selling solutions & help within the field of research & development. You will have excellent closing skills as this is a key requirement for the role where you will be expected to generate & close new business opportunities in the quickest amount of time possible. At the same time there will also be an element of account management as the service is done on a long term contract basis & so maintaining the relationship with clients is also key. This is a fantastic brand new opportunity which can potentially grow & develop in to a variety of different areas.
